EasyStart can be quickly and easily moved to different start positions along the course during competitions. For example, from the 2000 m start for seniors to the 1000 m start for juniors or the 500 m start for para-rowing. This is unique to EasyStart.
We have also developed a foldable dock that allows officials to access the start dock without a boat. It easily unfolds when an official needs to leave the dock and folds back so boats can pass. We delivered one of these to Szeged, Hungary, in 2024.
When constructing a rowing course, the lane width is typically 12.5 m or 13.5 m. The two widths exist because not all courses are wide enough to accommodate 13.5 m × 8 = 108 m. Canoe competitions, however, always have a lane width of 9 m. Some venues host both rowing and canoe competitions, sometimes at short notice. Therefore, the distance between the dock fingers must be adjustable from 12.5 or 13.5 m to 9 m. We have developed a solution to accommodate this.
