Easy Delivery of Docks and Floats

At Floattech, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to have your floating dock, float, or swimming ramp delivered and ready to use. The delivery method depends on the dock’s width and size.

Docks up to 2.4 m

Docks with a width of up to 2.4 meters are delivered assembled and ready from our factory in Värnamo, Sweden. We also install accessories such as hinges, boat ring mounts, and gangway brackets. Post mounts can be easily installed on-site using our clear assembly instructions. This delivery method is ideal for those who want a ready-to-use dock that can be put into service quickly.

Docks wider than 2.4 m

If the dock’s width exceeds 2.4 meters, it is delivered as a kit to fit on the truck. All components are carefully packaged and come with clear assembly instructions, making it easy for you to assemble the dock on-site.

How Delivery Works

Order and Confirmation

Your order is shipped from our factory. Floattech or your local retailer will agree on a delivery date, which is always confirmed in the order confirmation.

Carrier and Flexible Timing

We use carriers such as DSV or DB Schenker for our deliveries. (Local variations may apply depending on your location.) We do not operate our own trucks but purchase transport services from reliable partners. Transit times vary depending on your address, the carrier’s routes, and the volume of goods. Please be flexible and available when the truck arrives.

Large Truck and Accessible Road

Delivery is made with a trailer truck (18 m) or a truck with a trailer (24 m). The road to the delivery address must be passable and have enough space for the truck to turn. Responsibility for Unloading: Upon delivery, the customer is responsible for unloading the goods. For heavy products, it is recommended that several people assist. If any items are damaged during transport, photograph the damage and have the driver note it on the delivery note before contacting us.

Sustainable Products

All our docks and floats are built for long service life and are completely free from pressure-treated wood. You won’t need to oil the dock each season, reducing maintenance and environmental impact. SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden (SP) has tested our docks and confirmed that the products have minimal environmental impact throughout their entire lifespan.
