About Floattech – Floating Docks, Floats, and Bathing Ramps from Sweden

Floattech Sweden AB is an innovative Swedish company founded in 2007, based in the entrepreneurial Gnosjö region. We develop and deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions that enhance access to and enjoyment of water. Our products – including floating docks, swimming floats, sauna floats, work floats, and bathing ramps – are used by private individuals, associations, municipalities, and businesses both in Sweden and internationally.

With a strong focus on customer experience and user-centered design, we create functional and smart solutions that simplify water-based activities in sports, outdoor recreation, community services, and industry. Our Småland spirit of innovation and long-term commitment to quality drive our work, and we aim to make our solutions accessible to people worldwide while building lasting relationships and trust in global markets.

Our Factory and Office

Our factory in Småland, Sweden was originally built in 1974, acquired by Floattech in 2013, and fully renovated in 2014. Today, the facility comprises 1,800 m² of production space and 200 m² of office space, fully equipped for the manufacturing of floating docks and floats. Since 2015, all EasyFloat® floats have been rotationally molded from durable polyethylene in our own factory, ensuring high quality and long-lasting products.

Environment and Sustainability

At Floattech, we are actively committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability. Our products are manufactured using carefully selected materials that are either recyclable or can be safely incinerated without harming the environment. They are designed to minimize climate impact throughout their entire lifecycle. By working with local suppliers in the Gnosjö region, we reduce transportation distances, and our factory is powered by certified green electricity, energy-efficient ventilation systems, and district heating. All production waste is regranulated and reused – meaning that old plastic bottles can be given a new life as modern floating docks.

We follow clear quality processes from order to delivery, including internal inspections, signature requirements, and supplier audits. Management conducts regular spot checks, even at the customer’s site, to ensure that our docks and floats always meet the highest standards.
